Having starred in so many movies when he was very young, John Dumelo apart from being so youthful has a legendary record to his name for his impressive performance in the local movie industry. He has also appeared in several Nigerian movies. Currently, he is a card-holding member of the National Democratic Congress and a farmer. He is married to one pretty woman called Gifty Mawunya.
