Legendary local movie actor, Agya Koo aka Alex Adu has come out to debunk rumors that he has lost his fame of being the most sought-after actor in Ghana due to his own behavior with his co-actors or anyone who is in the movie industry.

Speaking to the media, Agya Koo who was passionate about this topic mentioned the people in the whole movie industry hatched a plan to damage his career.

According to the veteran actor, this plan came about on the set of a video shoot called "Okomfo Anokye" where he was the main character. He was straight to the point and said he refused to go bare as directed by one of the movie directors on this set because he felt that wasn't the best for himself and the public.

He was quick to add that he had had a conversation with the Asantehene before and he advised him about teaching their audience how to dress well when making movies so if he, Agya Koo had refused such a scene he should have commended it and not set aside by movie people.

These statements by Agya Koo are in sharp contrast to rumors that his regular travels outside the country and expensive charges in order to feature in movies were what discouraged movie producers from taking him on in their movies.
