How To Change Your Lifestyle In 3 Steps

For many individuals who began this year with considerable plans of how to have a healthy lifestyle... it's getting to that period in the year when a lot of people are going against those plans on how to make change on their new habits.

That’s common to say, but we can always do better if it's still your goal on how to change your lifestyle.

We procrastinate on starting the habit. Our minds start to go against the task of keeping to a goal. We justify not having the habit fulfilled. With these that hinder our progress in mind, I am going to walk you through 3 steps for how to change yourself. They take determination to achieve, but you are a goal getter!

Here are the 3 steps:

1. Focus on just starting.

Set a trigger when you’re going to do the habit each day — let’s say you’re going to meditate when you wake up, or work out when you get home, or read during your lunch break. When the time comes to do the habit (the trigger happens), just launch into doing the habit, without delay.

Focus on getting good at this skill of starting. When the trigger happens, have a reminder note nearby that says, “Just start.” Lower the barrier to doing the habit by making it smaller (just meditate for a minute or two), create barriers to doing your usual distractions, and just take the smallest first step.

You’re going to practice getting good at starting, every day. If you master this, you’ll also get a lot better at not procrastinating with other stuff!

2. Be completely with the habit.

When you do start the habit, it’s very common to focus on getting through the habit, trying to complete the task. This is a mindset that most of us have all day long — we are just rushing through our tasks, trying to finish each one. But actually this is not helpful for habits.

We want to be completely present with the habit, really feel the texture of the experience, and imagine there is no end, that this moment is all there is and ever will be. It can transform the habit, turning it into a mindfulness practice, and we can even find gratitude for being able to do it. We don’t have to do it, we get to do it.

This is an act of love for ourselves, and we are doing it to not only be compassionate with ourselves, but to enable ourselves to be more present, compassionate and committed to serving others. This moment of doing the habit is an act of love for everyone we know. This is a wonderful cure for the tedium of sticking to a plan.

3. Pause when you start to rationalize.

The problem with rationalizing not doing the habit is that we don’t often notice we’re doing it. We just start moving away from doing the habit. We just think, “It’s OK, I’ll do it later,” or “Screw it, I don’t really need to do this,” or “Just this one time won’t hurt.”

These are not helpful thoughts. Instead, we should learn to pause. Sit still, take a breath, and remind yourself of why you’re committed to this habit. Who are you doing it for? Are you devoted to them, and if so, is your devotion larger than your momentary discomfort and rationalizations?

Take this pause and remember your love, and pour yourself into this habit by just starting and being completely present with it.
I offer these three techniques to you, and I hope you’ll give them a full-hearted effort.

What I Wish Everyone Knew About How To Be Happy In Life

It is an open secret money cannot purchase happiness. We though pretend with more money we would be happier. We are trained from childhood to understand how to be happy in life might be achievable through having more money.
Can money really buy happiness? We are trained to want more wealth (we know the wealthy are not happy either); we are conditioned to get the trending style or electronic appliance. Example, look at how lots of people throng the stores during the holidays to get gifts for their friends and family. We aspire to get more money then can we buy what we want and be happy in life.

But do these things really bring us happiness? True happiness cannot be bought. In spite of how fat our salaries are, how much is in our bank accounts. The mansions, clothings and cars we have acquired over the years, all of these cannot give us that happy life. Unfortunately, some will realize this later on in their lives.
Answer to how to be happy in life What brings us happiness? By stroke of…

Learning How To Save Money Each Month From Salary Is Not Difficult At All!

Like many young people, I dread budgeting and paying expenses and thinking also about savings and pension. I have observed that living consciously means not only celebrating in this time, but taking care of things at this moment, when they are not huge, rather than wait when they get out of hand. With that in mind, I have a few tips for anyone else who wants to learn how to save money each month from salary.
1. Spend less than you make OK, this is almost the only tip you need. People spend more than they do not really have, and that is the biggest financial problem of such individuals. Then they end up in a tight corner, and it’s hard to get out of the corner, and they work long hours to keep up with spending beyond their means.

The result is an unhappy life in which they are trying to pay for spending, they don’t need really.

Spend less, work more, worry less, be happier.
2. Try not to get into debt If you spend less than the salary you make, you won’t be owing, clearly. It’s simple,…
