News has it that Ghana's economy is in shambles and it will take the intervention of the International Monetary Fund IMF before it can be resuscitated.

This is in stark contrast with the promise made by President Akuffo Addo and his incumbent government. They had earlier posited that to avert Ghana going to IMF with all their stringent directives it will take the e-levy for the Ghanaian economy to avoid this.

A few days ago this e-levy was reportedly announced as generating only 10% of its estimated revenues by Gabby Otchere Darko on Twitter.

Following this news, there has been public outcry and ridicule of President Akuffo Addo-led government for their abysmal performance.

Mikki Osei Berko who shies away from mainstream politics compared the whole e-levy scenario in a video sighted on the internet.
