Ernesto Taricone arrived in Ghana at the age of 20 years- 1968 with his father and two siblings. The bulk of his investments in Ghana cover various companies under mining, real estate business, agriculture and forestry. Taricone has been able to change a small family enterprise to one of the best in West Africa.

His companies include: Trasacco Estate Development Company Limited, Sant Agata Agricultural Property of Barone Taricone Limited, Metropolis Development Limited, Royal Aluminium Systems, Ital Prestress and Construction Products Limited, Gulfwing Aviation Limited and Fabi Timbers and BRM Wood Processing Company Limited.
