The China-based striker enters into this issue after an apology sent by Muntari to the Ghana FA over the 2014 FIFA World Cup incidents.
Both, Sulley Muntari and Prince Boateng were sacked immediately during the tournament in Brazil due to various acts of indiscipline. Muntari was charge of slapping the Black Stars management committee member in an unprovoked attack, while AC Milan star, Prince get axed for abusing the coach, Kwesi Appiah.

However, he told media, “We can say our point of view, the final decision will be from coach and the federation, whether they should call or not. But, as a Ghanaian and captain of Ghana, it’s time we should forgive them and recall them back to the side.” Despite the request, he still admits that the final decision will be from the Ghanaian coach. However, the government’s commission of enquiry has rejected Muntari should be recalled in the team, despite his apology.
